Cancellation and Refund Policy

However, we understand that sometimes situations change, and you may need to cancel your course enrolment or request a refund. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which cancellations and refunds may be provided, as well as the process for requesting them.

 

1. Course Enrolment Cancellation

Once you have enrolled in a course, you may be able to cancel your enrolment under the conditions outlined below.

Cancellation Period:

  • Free Trial (if applicable): If we offer a free trial for our courses, you may cancel your enrolment at any time during the trial period without any charges. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically billed for the course or subscription plan.

  • Paid Courses: You may cancel your course enrolment at any time. However, whether you are eligible for a refund depends on our refund policy, as described below.

 

2. Refund Eligibility

Partial Refunds:

  • If you have accessed more than 50% of the course content but are dissatisfied, you may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion. This will depend on the extent of your engagement with the course.

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Certain services, such as certificates of completion, personal coaching, or other customized services, may not be eligible for a refund once provided, as they are considered non-refundable after the service is rendered.

 

3. How to Request a Refund or Course Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your course enrolment or request a refund, please follow the steps below:

  1. Submit a refund request or course cancellation by sending an email directly at support@ascentia-learning.com by provide the reason for the cancellation or refund request, including any relevant details (e.g., technical issues, dissatisfaction with the course content).

Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 7-10 business days after approval. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

 

4. Late or Missing Refunds

If you believe that you are entitled to a refund but have not received it within the specified timeframe, please:

  • Check your payment method (e.g., bank account, credit card).

  • Contact your payment provider or financial institution for information regarding the processing time.

  • If you still have concerns, contact our support team at support@ascentia-learning.com for further assistance.

 

5. Changes to Courses or Services

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue any course or service offered on our Platform. If we cancel a course or service, you will be notified, and you may be eligible for a refund, depending on the circumstances. Refunds will be processed for courses or services that are discontinued or unavailable within the refund window.

 

6. Refunds for Subscription Plans

If you are subscribed to a recurring monthly or annual plan, you may cancel your subscription at any time. However:

  • No Refunds for Previous Payments: Payments made for prior billing cycles are non-refundable.

  • Pro-rated Refunds: If you cancel a subscription before the end of the current billing cycle, you will not be charged for the next cycle. You will retain access to the subscription until the end of the current billing period.

To cancel your subscription, please follow the steps in your account settings or contact our support team.

 

7. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that exceptional situations may arise that are outside the normal scope of this policy. If you believe you are entitled to a refund or cancellation due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., medical emergency, personal hardship), please contact us at support@ascentia-learning.com with your request and any relevant documentation. 8. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Please note that it may take 7-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on the payment method and financial institution.
